Chimney Crown Repair in Avenue Collection, St. Thomas
Professional chimney crown repair in Avenue Collection, St. Thomas — 24 hour response, licensed & insured.
The chimney crown is the concrete cap at the very top of your chimney in Avenue Collection, St. Thomas. It sheds water off the top of the masonry and away from the flue. When it cracks, water pours into every course of brick below it — and freeze-thaw does the rest.
Why chimney crown repair matters in Avenue Collection, St. Thomas
Top-Down Water Damage
A cracked crown is the source of almost every spalling-brick problem on GTA chimneys.
Cheap Fix Now, Expensive Fix Later
Resealing a crown is a $400–$800 job. Rebuilding a spalled chimney is $4,000+.
Overhang Matters
A proper crown overhangs the brick by 1–2" with a drip edge. Flush-poured crowns funnel water straight into the masonry.

Small flue fire in January. They inspected, documented the damage, and coordinated the report with my insurer without me chasing anyone.
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.
1920s brick, plenty of quirks. The technician clearly knew older builds and pointed out mortar joints to watch rather than pushing a rebuild.
