When freeze-thaw has spalled the brick on your chimney in Eglinton East, Scarborough, or the mortar joints have deteriorated to sand, a proper rebuild — or partial rebuild with tuckpointing — restores structural integrity and stops the water damage cycle.

Why chimney rebuild & tuckpointing matters in Eglinton East, Scarborough

Structural Safety

A crumbling chimney can drop bricks — a real liability during storms in Eglinton East, Scarborough.

Tuckpointing Explained

Grinding out old mortar joints and repacking with fresh mortar. Adds 30+ years to a masonry chimney.

Partial vs Full Rebuild

If only the crown-level courses are damaged, we rebuild the top 4–8 courses. Full rebuilds are rare and only when the entire stack is compromised.
