When freeze-thaw has spalled the brick on your chimney in Empire South, Brantford, or the mortar joints have deteriorated to sand, a proper rebuild — or partial rebuild with tuckpointing — restores structural integrity and stops the water damage cycle.

Why chimney rebuild & tuckpointing matters in Empire South, Brantford

Structural Safety

A crumbling chimney can drop bricks — a real liability during storms in Empire South, Brantford.

Tuckpointing Explained

Grinding out old mortar joints and repacking with fresh mortar. Adds 30+ years to a masonry chimney.

Partial vs Full Rebuild

If only the crown-level courses are damaged, we rebuild the top 4–8 courses. Full rebuilds are rare and only when the entire stack is compromised.

Chimney Rebuild & Tuckpointing reviews in Empire South, Brantford

4.9 average from 743 verified customer reviews
Honest about what I did not need
They told me the flue did not need sweeping yet and charged only for the inspection. First contractor in years to talk me out of spending money.
Nadia F. - Richmond Hill - 2026-06-19
Great with an old masonry chimney
1920s brick, plenty of quirks. The technician clearly knew older builds and pointed out mortar joints to watch rather than pushing a rebuild.
Owen C. - Milton - 2025-11-08
Level 2 for a house sale
Recorded the whole flue on video for the buyer's agent. The chimney line item stopped being a negotiation point the same day.
Tom H. - Markham - 2026-04-03
Second flue done same visit
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.
