When freeze-thaw has spalled the brick on your chimney in Braneida, Brantford, or the mortar joints have deteriorated to sand, a proper rebuild — or partial rebuild with tuckpointing — restores structural integrity and stops the water damage cycle.

Why chimney rebuild & tuckpointing matters in Braneida, Brantford

Structural Safety

A crumbling chimney can drop bricks — a real liability during storms in Braneida, Brantford.

Tuckpointing Explained

Grinding out old mortar joints and repacking with fresh mortar. Adds 30+ years to a masonry chimney.

Partial vs Full Rebuild

If only the crown-level courses are damaged, we rebuild the top 4–8 courses. Full rebuilds are rare and only when the entire stack is compromised.

Chimney Rebuild & Tuckpointing reviews in Braneida, Brantford

4.9 average from 743 verified customer reviews
Second flue done same visit
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.
Hannah J. - Pickering - 2026-03-29
Camera scan caught a cracked tile
Previous company swept and said everything was fine. Diamond ran a camera and showed me a cracked liner tile on screen. Glad I got the second opinion.
Marta S. - Mississauga - 2025-11-30
Good work, tight scheduling
Had to move my appointment once, but the sweep itself was excellent and the crown sealing has held through the winter with no water staining.
Greg W. - Burlington - 2025-10-21
Great with an old masonry chimney
1920s brick, plenty of quirks. The technician clearly knew older builds and pointed out mortar joints to watch rather than pushing a rebuild.
Owen C. - Milton - 2025-11-08
