When freeze-thaw has spalled the brick on your chimney in York University Heights, North York, or the mortar joints have deteriorated to sand, a proper rebuild — or partial rebuild with tuckpointing — restores structural integrity and stops the water damage cycle.

Why chimney rebuild & tuckpointing matters in York University Heights, North York

Structural Safety

A crumbling chimney can drop bricks — a real liability during storms in York University Heights, North York.

Tuckpointing Explained

Grinding out old mortar joints and repacking with fresh mortar. Adds 30+ years to a masonry chimney.

Partial vs Full Rebuild

If only the crown-level courses are damaged, we rebuild the top 4–8 courses. Full rebuilds are rare and only when the entire stack is compromised.

Chimney Rebuild & Tuckpointing reviews in York University Heights, North York

4.9 average from 743 verified customer reviews
Post-fire inspection
Small flue fire in January. They inspected, documented the damage, and coordinated the report with my insurer without me chasing anyone.
Daniel K. - North York - 2026-05-02
Great with an old masonry chimney
1920s brick, plenty of quirks. The technician clearly knew older builds and pointed out mortar joints to watch rather than pushing a rebuild.
Owen C. - Milton - 2025-11-08
Explained the pricing upfront
Quoted over the phone, confirmed on site before starting, and the final invoice matched exactly. Refreshing in this trade.
Simone R. - Scarborough - 2025-09-27
Raccoon eviction and cap fitted
Family of raccoons in the flue. They removed them humanely, cleaned everything, and fitted a stainless guard that has kept them out since.
Alicia D. - Ajax - 2026-02-25
