A chimney cap keeps rain, snow, animals, and debris out of your flue in Somerset Hills, London. A chimney without a cap is an open pipe pointed at your fireplace — birds nest in it every spring, and water pours into it every rainstorm.

Why chimney cap installation matters in Somerset Hills, London

Water Exclusion

The single most cost-effective chimney improvement you can make is installing a cap.

Animal Prevention

Raccoons, squirrels, and chimney swifts nest in uncapped flues every year in Somerset Hills, London.

Post-fire inspection
Small flue fire in January. They inspected, documented the damage, and coordinated the report with my insurer without me chasing anyone.
Daniel K. - North York - 2026-05-02
Report my insurer accepted
Needed dated documentation for renewal. The report had the technician certification number and photos, and my insurer accepted it without a follow-up question.
Rachel B. - Vaughan - 2025-12-12
Second flue done same visit
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.
Hannah J. - Pickering - 2026-03-29
Level 2 for a house sale
Recorded the whole flue on video for the buyer's agent. The chimney line item stopped being a negotiation point the same day.
