When freeze-thaw has spalled the brick on your chimney in Norton Estates, London, or the mortar joints have deteriorated to sand, a proper rebuild — or partial rebuild with tuckpointing — restores structural integrity and stops the water damage cycle.

Why chimney rebuild & tuckpointing matters in Norton Estates, London

Structural Safety

A crumbling chimney can drop bricks — a real liability during storms in Norton Estates, London.

Tuckpointing Explained

Grinding out old mortar joints and repacking with fresh mortar. Adds 30+ years to a masonry chimney.

Partial vs Full Rebuild

If only the crown-level courses are damaged, we rebuild the top 4–8 courses. Full rebuilds are rare and only when the entire stack is compromised.

Previous company swept and said everything was fine. Diamond ran a camera and showed me a cracked liner tile on screen. Glad I got the second opinion.

Level 2 for a house sale
Recorded the whole flue on video for the buyer's agent. The chimney line item stopped being a negotiation point the same day.

Raccoon eviction and cap fitted
Family of raccoons in the flue. They removed them humanely, cleaned everything, and fitted a stainless guard that has kept them out since.
