A chimney cap keeps rain, snow, animals, and debris out of your flue in Old University, Guelph. A chimney without a cap is an open pipe pointed at your fireplace — birds nest in it every spring, and water pours into it every rainstorm.

Why chimney cap installation matters in Old University, Guelph

Water Exclusion

The single most cost-effective chimney improvement you can make is installing a cap.

Animal Prevention

Raccoons, squirrels, and chimney swifts nest in uncapped flues every year in Old University, Guelph.

Chimney Cap Installation reviews in Old University, Guelph

4.9 average from 743 verified customer reviews
Thorough sweep before the season
Drop cloths went down before anything else. Room was spotless afterwards and they fixed a loose cap on the spot rather than booking a second visit.
Emily T. - Etobicoke - 2026-02-09
Exceptional chimney inspection
Punctual, professional, and walked me through every step. The report came the same afternoon with clear photos of the crown cracks they found. No pressure to book the repair.
Sarah M. - Toronto - 2026-05-14
Great with an old masonry chimney
1920s brick, plenty of quirks. The technician clearly knew older builds and pointed out mortar joints to watch rather than pushing a rebuild.
Owen C. - Milton - 2025-11-08
Second flue done same visit
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.
Hannah J. - Pickering - 2026-03-29
