A chimney cap keeps rain, snow, animals, and debris out of your flue in Doug Tarry Homes, Dorchester. A chimney without a cap is an open pipe pointed at your fireplace — birds nest in it every spring, and water pours into it every rainstorm.

Why chimney cap installation matters in Doug Tarry Homes, Dorchester

Water Exclusion

The single most cost-effective chimney improvement you can make is installing a cap.

Animal Prevention

Second flue done same visit
Old house with a furnace flue as well. They handled both in one visit and discounted the second one rather than charging full price twice.

Needed dated documentation for renewal. The report had the technician certification number and photos, and my insurer accepted it without a follow-up question.
Rachel B. - Vaughan - 2025-12-12
